Christmas is in the Air

Our tree has been up for some time now but I finally finished the tree skirt the other day. Yup thats right, I made the tree skirt. It doesn't lay all perfectly flat like I was hoping (hey, I'm still learning) but I'm happy with it.

Close up of the tree skirt.

Here are a few pictures of the kids helping decorate our tree.

Even the outside of our home is decorated. Thanks to my friend's husband, Sean.

Nice tree, Diana -- and the skirt is lovely too! Jesse would like the outside of the house. He always wanted me to decorate the outside of our apartment, but I just couldn't figure out how to get the lights up, etc. I'm glad you had some help with it! Give hugs to the children ... grandma is missing them terribly ...

Great job on the tree skirt. It looks like it's panne velvet.
Beautiful. I love the tree and the
fact that the kids helped too. They
did most all of our tree last year,
even tho they were feeling crummy,
remember. All the decorations were
in the one front area and two feet
up on the tree. One of the best-
looking trees we had. The lights on
the house look super. So nice of
your friend to do it. And you have
those nice posts to do too. I'll
bet the kids love coming into the
house with it all decorated. We
don't even have our tree up, but we
do have outdoor decorations.
People on Alten our more subdued
with decorating this year. P.S.
You can try putting the tree skirt
in the dryer with no heat to get it
to lie flat. Or after Christmas,
take out a few stitches. You are
way ahead of me as far as accomplishing things. Congrats.

Great job on the skirt! It looks wonderful in the pictures and I like that shade of blue. The kids decorated our tree at home this year too and as a result it is a very uneven spread of ornaments but we still love it. The certificate is on it's way to you!
