Christopher's Fundraiser

Can you believe it, they are having a fundraiser at Head Start! When I he walked out that day holding it (so proudly too) my thoughts where, "oh great, another". But like I did for Emma I will also be buying from him. If anyone would like to order, we truly appreciate it. Now the cool thing with this one, you can view everything online! Although if you do order, you will still need to email me what you would like and send the money to me. I have to get a money order for the full amount.

Anyway, the site to view all the goodies is www.cherrydale.com. I will be turning in the order on September 28th. And thanks again to everyone who helped out in Emma's Fundraiser!

Emma's Fundraiser - Part 2

Ok, so I managed to scan a few of the pages and get them up. I did a page of Christmas, of Grandmothers, a couple of kitchen, one of lighthouses and the gift wrap items at the end of the book. Email me or call the house with orders or questions. Thanks!

Emma's Fundraiser

So yes, it is that time of the year. I have been wanting to try and get it all scanned and loaded on the web but that just didn't happen. If any of ya'll are interested in ordering to help her school (and or course she gets prizes), either call or email me.

Some examples of what they have.......chocolates, cookware, kitchen accessories, candles, wrapping paper, the coolest salt and pepper shakers (they look like rocks!), frames, travel items and so much more. They have Christmas themes, winter, snowmen, M &M, Christmas Trees, Santa, family, spring/nature, frogs, lighthouses, basically they tried to cover as many interests as they could.

Unfortunately I do have to have the order in by Sept 18. I can cover to some extent if you do decide to order and then just send the money to me otherwise I do have a way of taking credit/debit cards over the internet (all secure).

Thank you to those that have already helped and thank you in advance to those that decided to call/email and help!!

Meet SSG Jes

Meet SSG Jes! He is my little buddy that I cuddle with all the time. My sister Sabrina and her family had him specially made just for me. Isn't he adorable?!

They sent each of the kids their own little lovey as well. Matt got a puppy (he is saying "I see" which means he would like to see the picture you are taking, haha). Chris got a dinosaur and Emma got a kitty.

The Day We Wished Would Never Come!

August 22, 2007

We all get up in the morning and drop Jesse off at his company by 5:30am. By 9:45am I get a call that we can meet him in the gym. The kids and I rush out and drive just down the road. Park and walk in. We ended up staying in the gym and spending our last hours with Jesse. The kids mostly ran around and played with other kids. They even provided lunch for us.

Emma just hanging around.

Jesse and his weapon.

I love this man!!!!

Here they are lining up to get ready to head out. They left the gym at about 2pm.

Over 200 soldiers deployed that day!

Jesse is the one with his helmet behind him.

Getting on the buses to take them to the plane.

The air plane that will take them half way around the world. Set to depart at about 5pm. Yes, I took the kids out to watch it go.

I have many pictures of them getting on the plane but the camera I have with me isn't so good and I couldn't really tell if I got a picture of Jesse in any of them for sure or not so I'm just posting one.

The flight getting ready to take off.

See the little white dot in the sky below the clouds? Yup, thats them! Now that you have read through this and seen all my pictures, check out this great slide show made by PV2 Angie Barber!

Oh so many!

Have no fear I have many blogs a coming! Sorry for getting way way behind. I still have some blogs to do of stuff we did with Jesse before he left and I will get to those soon. I also have Emma's birthday party to put up and so much more. My next blog though I hold dear to my heart and isn't an easy post.

I did start a blog a bit ago just for Jesse. At this point I have not made it private or anything but more then likely it is going to end up that way. I'm not going to directly link to it but the address can be found by clicking on my complete profile link.
